After the final on the racecourse in Champ de Mars in Mauritius Nadine Gratz from Germany became the Fegentri World Champion 2009. Runner up is Claire Allen from England, third became Catherine Burri from Switzerland. The final race of the Fegentri series was won by Paula Wolters-Flierman from The Netherlands, second was Catherine Burri and third Cathrine Engebretsen from Norway. It was an exciting race on the occasion of the International Jockeys’ Weekend in Mauritius.

Fegentri World Champion Marian Falk Weissmeier was honoured by the Lord Mayor of his home town Sonsbeck for his title as the youngest World Champion ever in Fegentri history. He was invited to sign the “Golden Book” of the city of Sonsbeck on November 13th, 2009.
